These Terms govern the Au Pair Training website, dashboards, checkout, mobile learning service and digital course content (together, the “Platform”). The Platform is operated by The JuLee Project Limited, company registration number HE481263, Cyprus. Full company details appear in the Imprint.
By registering, purchasing or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy and AI Transparency Policy. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
Training access is for adults aged 18 or over. You must provide accurate information and must not create an account for someone without authority to do so.
Login credentials and course access are personal and non-transferable. You are responsible for keeping credentials secure and for activity performed through your account. The Platform may use one-time login codes, device controls and session security. Tell us promptly at hello@aupairtraining.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
Available courses, descriptions and prices are published dynamically on the Platform. A host family or sponsor purchase creates one allocation for the selected course. The allocation can be assigned to an au pair by email. Invitations are single-use and normally expire after seven days, but an unused allocation may be invited again.
An unused assignment can be stopped and reassigned. If training has already started, the sponsor may pause access; pausing does not extend the original expiry date. An au-pair self-purchase is assigned directly to that au pair.
Course access normally lasts for 12 months. For self-purchases, the period begins when the paid or complimentary order is activated. For sponsored allocations, it begins when the au pair first accepts the invitation. The original period is not restarted by pausing, relinking or changing sponsor arrangements unless the Platform expressly grants a new allocation.
The Platform records lesson progress, video position, quizzes, completion and certificate status. A host family or sponsor can see progress for the course it purchased and assigned. This visibility is part of administering that allocation and is not controlled by the separate previous-history settings.
An au pair decides whether a linked account may additionally see training history or certificates from earlier courses that the linked account did not sponsor. Agencies do not receive host-family or au-pair learning records merely because a referral code was used.
A certificate may be issued after the Platform’s required lessons, quizzes and final assessment are successfully completed and the certificate profile information is supplied. It confirms completion of the named course only. It is not a government qualification, professional childcare licence, visa, work authorisation or guarantee of placement. Certificates may be withheld or revoked in cases of fraud, impersonation or manipulated progress.
The checkout shows the selected course’s base price and currency. Where enabled, Stripe may offer a local currency through Adaptive Pricing. Eligible public, account-specific, campaign or referral discounts are applied before payment confirmation. Payment is made through Stripe; complete card details are not stored by us. Host-family and sponsor checkout may request billing details within Stripe for payment and invoice creation.
Prices and promotions may change for future purchases. A completed purchase is governed by the amount and currency confirmed at checkout.
If you are an EU consumer, you may have a statutory 14-day withdrawal right. For digital content supplied immediately, that right may end after supply begins where you have expressly requested immediate performance and acknowledged the resulting loss of the withdrawal right. Nothing in these Terms removes rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Before training begins, contact hello@aupairtraining.com promptly if you wish to cancel. Once digital training has begun, refunds are not normally provided for a failed match, an early departure, inactivity or a change in personal circumstances. Where digital content is materially defective, statutory remedies—including repair, price reduction or termination where applicable—remain available.
You must not share accounts, copy or resell course material, record protected content, impersonate another person, manipulate progress or assessments, interfere with security, use automated extraction tools, or use the Platform unlawfully. We may suspend access while suspected misuse is investigated and may terminate access for a material breach.
The Platform and course materials are owned by The JuLee Project Limited or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property law. A valid allocation grants the learner a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the course during the access period. Downloadable handouts may be used for the learner’s or sponsoring household’s internal reference only.
Referral codes may provide a customer discount and record commission for an approved agency or affiliate. Rates, active status, attribution rules, payment schedule and payout method are those displayed in the authorised dashboard or agreed separately. Self-referrals, misleading promotion and manipulation of attribution are prohibited. We may pause a code or withhold or reverse commission connected with refunded, fraudulent or ineligible orders.
We aim to keep the Platform available but maintenance, security events and third-party outages may interrupt access. We may update functionality and course content while preserving paid access to the purchased course in substance. Material changes to these Terms apply prospectively unless law or security requires otherwise.
Eligible users may request account deletion from their account page. Deletion disables access and automatically anonymises direct profile information. We may retain anonymised learning records and the transaction, invoice, fraud-prevention or legal records required to comply with law or establish or defend claims. See the Privacy Policy for details.
The training is educational and does not replace parental supervision, professional advice, safeguarding duties or compliance with immigration, employment or au-pair rules. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for matching decisions, household arrangements or acts or omissions of users. Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
These Terms are governed by Cyprus law. Consumers retain any mandatory protection and jurisdiction rights available in their country of habitual residence. The English version governs; translations are provided for convenience.
