Au Pair Training uses artificial intelligence (“AI”) technologies throughout the production of its audiovisual training content.
The visual and audiovisual elements used in our courses, including characters, scenes, avatars, illustrations, animations and synthetic voices, are created or produced with the assistance of AI technologies and digital production tools.
AI tools may also be used to assist with the development, structuring, translation, editing and presentation of written educational materials, scripts, quizzes and other course content.
AI is used as a production and educational tool. The educational purpose, structure and final published content of Au Pair Training remain subject to human review and editorial responsibility.
This page explains how we use AI and how we inform users about AI-generated and AI-assisted content.
Artificial intelligence forms part of the production process for Au Pair Training.
AI and AI-assisted technologies are used for purposes including:
Additional editing and production tools may be used to combine, edit, subtitle, format or otherwise prepare AI-generated material for publication.
The use of AI does not replace Au Pair Training's responsibility for the educational content that we publish.
Au Pair Training uses fictional characters and simulated situations to demonstrate circumstances that an au pair may encounter while living and working with a host family.
The people, families, children, homes, conversations and situations depicted in our AI-generated training scenes are fictional educational representations unless expressly identified otherwise.
They are used to illustrate subjects such as:
Although some characters, avatars and environments may appear photorealistic, they should not be understood as documentary footage of actual people or events unless we specifically state otherwise.
The narrator, course context and accompanying educational material explain and provide context for these fictional scenarios.
Au Pair Training uses AI-generated or digitally created presenters, characters, avatars and synthetic voices within its audiovisual training content.
Some of these elements may have a realistic or photorealistic appearance.
Unless expressly identified as a real person, an individual appearing in an AI-generated training scene should be understood as a fictional or digitally generated character used for educational purposes.
AI-generated characters are not presented as actual au pairs, host families, customers, employees, experts or other real individuals unless this is expressly stated.
Where the likeness or voice of an identifiable real person is artificially generated or materially manipulated in circumstances requiring additional disclosure, we will provide an appropriate specific disclosure.
AI tools are also used as part of the development of written and narrated educational content.
This may include assistance with:
AI-generated output is not automatically published as final Au Pair Training educational content.
Course materials are subject to human editorial review and control before publication. Information may be modified, corrected, expanded, rejected or independently rewritten during this process.
Au Pair Training retains editorial responsibility for the educational content that it publishes.
AI-generated or AI-assisted content is used to support the presentation of our training.
AI itself is not presented as a childcare professional, psychologist, medical professional, legal professional or other regulated professional.
Where our courses discuss subjects such as childcare, child development, safety, cultural integration, communication, first aid, legal requirements or au pair programme rules, the relevant educational material remains subject to human editorial responsibility.
Users should also be aware that legal requirements, childcare standards and au pair programme rules may differ between countries and may change over time.
The visual and audiovisual training content used throughout Au Pair Training is created using artificial intelligence and digital production technologies.
This includes content that may appear realistic or photorealistic.
Before a learner begins the audiovisual course content, Au Pair Training provides an AI transparency notice informing the learner that the course contains AI-generated characters, scenes, avatars, voices and other audiovisual material.
This course-wide disclosure is provided before the learner's first exposure to the relevant audiovisual course material.
AI-generated course material published separately through advertising, social media, websites or other channels may contain its own AI disclosure.
Au Pair Training does not intend AI-generated fictional characters to be presented as genuine customers, au pairs, host families, employees, professionals or other real persons providing authentic testimonials.
Where a testimonial or personal statement is presented as coming from a real person, it should represent the experience or statement of that person.
If AI technology is used to reconstruct, translate, dub or visually present the words of a real person in a manner that materially alters their appearance or voice, appropriate disclosure will be provided where required.
Because Au Pair Training serves an international audience, AI tools may assist with translation, dubbing, subtitles, localisation or language adaptation.
Translations may be reviewed or corrected by humans, particularly where educational meaning, safety information or cultural context is important.
Minor differences in wording may occur between language versions where this improves clarity or makes the information more appropriate for the relevant audience.
If Au Pair Training introduces an AI chatbot, AI assistant or another system that communicates directly with users, users will be informed that they are interacting with an AI system where this is not already obvious from the context.
Such information will be provided at or before the beginning of the interaction.
An AI assistant should not be treated as a replacement for professional advice or direct support from Au Pair Training where individual assistance is required.
Providers of certain generative AI systems may incorporate machine-readable information, content credentials, provenance data, watermarks or other technical mechanisms indicating that content was generated or modified using AI.
Where such information is included in content supplied to Au Pair Training, we do not intentionally remove or circumvent it for the purpose of concealing the artificial origin of the content.
Technical changes that occur through ordinary video editing, image processing, file compression, conversion, hosting or publication may, however, affect metadata or other technical information contained within a file.
Artificial intelligence is a tool used within our content-production process.
Final decisions regarding the educational materials published by Au Pair Training remain under human editorial control.
Where appropriate, our team reviews matters including:
AI-generated output may be rejected where it does not meet our standards.
Au Pair Training aims to comply with applicable transparency obligations relating to artificial intelligence, including Regulation (EU) 2024/1689, commonly known as the European Union Artificial Intelligence Act (“EU AI Act”).
Article 50 of the EU AI Act contains transparency requirements relating to certain AI-generated or AI-manipulated content.
Au Pair Training provides learners with a clear disclosure regarding the use of AI-generated audiovisual content before their first exposure to the relevant course material.
Our course transparency notice explains that the visual and audiovisual content used in the training, including characters, scenes, avatars and voices, is created using artificial intelligence and that the people and scenarios shown are fictional educational representations unless expressly stated otherwise.
Where AI-generated or manipulated material forms part of our fictional, creative or educational programme, transparency information may be provided at programme or course level in an appropriate manner that does not unnecessarily interfere with the presentation of the educational material.
Where content is used separately from the course, or where the context could reasonably lead users to believe that AI-generated content depicts an actual person, statement or event, additional disclosure may be provided as appropriate.
Information concerning AI-generated content will be provided in a clear, understandable and accessible manner in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
Artificial intelligence technologies and the laws governing their use continue to develop.
We may therefore update this AI Transparency Policy where:
The date of the most recent version will be shown at the top of this page.
